“Mountain of the Gods” (Gudarnas Berg) is an action-packed children’s series created for SVT. Produced by The Awarehouse Studio, the project was a deep dive into technical experimentation, blending Nordic mythology with an incredibly rapid production pipeline assisted by Artificial Intelligence.
The PremiseA Mythological Trial
Written by Alexandra Gripenhofter From, the series follows eight demi-gods gathered by Odin to compete for a monumental prize: becoming the first new god in over a thousand years.
To claim a seat beside Odin at the summit of the mythological mountain Himinbjörg, the competitors must navigate a magical arena teeming with Nordic monsters and powerful forces. But as the competition turns deadlier than expected, friendship, courage, and loyalty are put to the ultimate test, forcing the demi-gods to ask themselves how far they are willing to go to win.
The ProcessHigh-Speed Storytelling
Behind the on-screen adventure was an intense, highly focused production journey in the studio. Managed alongside SVT's Calle Gisselsson, the team successfully delivered a massive amount of content on a tight broadcast deadline: 12 episodes in just 14 weeks, with each episode running approximately 7 minutes.
