Pre-Production is Underway for our next Original!

It has been over a year since we released our last in-house short film, H3O2. Since then, we have been incredibly blessed to collaborate on dramas for the national streaming service and create campaigns for amazing brands. But amid all the commercial and commissioned work, there has always been a quiet whisper in the middle of the night reminding us of the original stories we set out to tell. Bringing our own worlds to life is the very reason we founded Awarehouse in the first place.

One of those long-brewed stories is Will of Samsara, a surreal psychological drama born from years spent living at an ashram. In the past, we tried to get this project off the ground through conventional production avenues, but the sheer madness and experimental nature of the story simply didn’t pass the traditional gatekeepers of funding.

But times have changed. Today, Awarehouse has evolved into a powerhouse in AI filmmaking, giving us the tools to bypass the gatekeepers and produce this film on our own terms. By fully embracing the generative medium, we can push the surrealism and visual boundaries to an even wilder extent than was first conceived possible.

The film follows Will, a philosophical hiker battling a deep inner void, who embarks on a journey up a condemned mountain in search of a flower said to grant eternal life. Along the way, he encounters the fair Lady Gaia and the unhinged Loop, who increasingly mirror his own deepest fears and desires. As the boundary between reality and fantasy blurs into a complete psychological collapse, Will must confront the darkest parts of his own mind to reach the summit and discover what is waiting for him.

We are utterly excited to announce that pre-production has officially begun. Right now, we are diving deep into setting the audiovisual direction for this mind-bending journey up the mountain. The wait is over, the tools are in our hands, and we cannot wait to finally share this story with you!
